How It's Installed — Step by Step

Is a roof coating right for my building?

If the deck and insulation are sound, the membrane is intact but aging, and the roof drains properly — yes, it's the most cost-effective option available. If the roof ponds water or the insulation is wet, we'll tell you at inspection and price the right fix instead.

How long does an acrylic coating last?

10-15 years per application, with manufacturer warranties tied to the dry film thickness applied. At the end of the cycle the roof can be cleaned and recoated — it's the most renewable system on the market.

Why can't acrylic handle ponding water?

Acrylic is water-based chemistry; standing water slowly re-softens and erodes it. Manufacturer warranties exclude ponding areas. Roofs with ponding zones need drainage corrected or a silicone system instead.

How much does coating restoration cost vs replacing the roof?

Typically 30-50% of full tear-off and reroof. It also avoids landfill disposal and keeps the building operating with no tear-off noise or exposure.
