Privacy Policy

How Coastal Roofing of Georgia collects, uses, shares, and protects the information you give us.

Effective date: August 15, 2026 · Last updated: August 15, 2026

The Short Version

When you fill out a form on this site or call us, we collect the contact and property details you give us, and we use them to get back to you about your roof. We do not sell or rent your information, and we do not run advertising or retargeting pixels on this website. The only outside companies that touch your data are the vendors that host the site, deliver your message to our inbox, and run the chat widget, all named below. If you would rather we stop contacting you, tell us and we stop.

1. Who We Are

Coastal Roofing of Georgia ("CRG," "we," "us," or "our") is a commercial and residential roofing contractor headquartered in Richmond Hill, Georgia. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information collected through our website at www.coastalroofga.com, and information you send us by phone, text, or email.

We serve property owners and managers in Savannah, Richmond Hill, Pooler, Garden City, Bloomingdale, Tybee Island, Rincon, Brunswick, Statesboro, and Hinesville, Georgia; Hilton Head Island, Bluffton, and Beaufort, South Carolina; and Jacksonville, Florida.

2. Information We Collect

a. Information you give us

Our contact and quote forms ask for the details we need to price and schedule roofing work. Depending on the form, that includes:

  • Your name
  • Your email address
  • Your phone number
  • The property address where the work would happen
  • The property type, such as residential, commercial, or industrial
  • The service you need, such as repair, replacement, inspection, or storm damage
  • Anything you write in the message or project details box

If you call, text, or email us directly, we also have whatever you tell us in that conversation. Our forms do not ask for Social Security numbers, bank account numbers, or credit card numbers, and you should not send that kind of information through the form or the chat widget.

b. Information collected automatically

Like almost every website, ours records basic technical information when a page loads. That includes:

  • Your IP address, and the general geographic area it suggests
  • Your browser type and version, device type, and operating system
  • Which pages you viewed, when, and roughly how long you stayed
  • The referring URL, meaning the page or search that sent you here

This is collected by our hosting provider as part of normal server operation, by Vercel Web Analytics, which measures aggregate page views and does not use cookies to track individuals across other sites, and by a first party visit tracking script operated by H&M Strategies, our marketing partner. We use it to see which pages are useful, spot problems, and keep the site secure, not to build an advertising profile of you.

c. The chat widget

The AI chat widget on our site is powered by Elfsight. If you open it and type a message, that message is processed by Elfsight in order to answer you and pass your request along to us. Keep financial and identity information out of the chat. If you ask us to follow up, what you send through chat is handled the same way as a form submission.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use what you give us to do the job you asked us to do. Specifically:

  • Answer your question and respond to your request
  • Schedule and perform a roof inspection at the property you identified
  • Prepare, send, and revise estimates and proposals
  • Coordinate crews, materials, scheduling, and job updates for work you hire us to do
  • Support warranty claims and service calls after the work is finished
  • Maintain business, tax, and insurance records, and protect the site against spam and abuse
  • Understand which pages visitors find useful so we can improve the site
  • Comply with legal obligations that apply to our business

We do not use your information to build advertising audiences or retargeting lists.

4. Calls, Text Messages, and Your Consent

This section matters, so we have kept it plain.

When you submit a form on this website or call our office, you are asking us to get back to you about your roof. That is an invitation to contact you, and we may do it by phone call, text message, or email at the number and address you provided. Those messages are about your request: confirming an appointment window, following up on an estimate, or letting you know a crew is on the way.

Message and data rates may apply, depending on your carrier and your plan. Message frequency varies with the stage of your project.

Consent to receive calls or texts is not a condition of purchase. You can hire Coastal Roofing of Georgia without agreeing to receive text messages, and you can ask us to use a different method at any time.

To stop hearing from us, you can do any of the following:

  • Reply STOP to any text message from us to end texts to that number
  • Tell the person you are speaking with on the phone to remove you from our list
  • Email Allen@coastalroofga.com with the phone number or email address you want removed
  • Use the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any promotional email we send

One practical note. If you have work scheduled with us, we may still need to reach you about that job, for example to arrange access to the property or warn you about a weather delay. Opting out of promotional contact does not shut off communication about a job already underway.

We do not sell or share the phone numbers and email addresses collected through this website with anyone else for their own marketing.

5. Cookies and Similar Technologies

Our site uses a small number of cookies. They fall into two groups: the ones needed for the site to load, function, and stay secure, and the ones set by the chat widget so it can remember your conversation across pages.

Vercel Web Analytics measures aggregate page views without using cookies to follow individual people from site to site.

To be direct about what is not here: this website does not run Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, the Meta or Facebook pixel, or any advertising retargeting pixel.

Controlling cookies. Every major browser lets you see, block, and delete cookies. Look under Settings, then Privacy, in Chrome, Safari, Firefox, or Edge. Blocking cookies will not stop you from reading the site or submitting a form, though the chat widget may forget an earlier conversation.

Do Not Track. Some browsers can send a "Do Not Track" signal. There is no agreed industry standard for how a site should respond to it, so this site does not currently respond to DNT signals. Because we run no advertising or cross site tracking here, there is little for such a signal to switch off.

6. How We Share Information

We do not sell or rent personal information. We do not trade it for anything of value or pass it to data brokers.

We do share information with a short list of service providers who make the website work and get your message to us. Each one receives only what it needs to do its part:

  • Vercel. Hosts and delivers this website, and provides Vercel Web Analytics, which reports aggregate page view numbers and does not use cookies to track individuals across sites.
  • Resend. Delivers contact form and quote request submissions to our email inbox.
  • Elfsight. Powers the AI chat widget. Messages you type into the chat are processed by Elfsight.
  • Cloudflare Images. Delivers the photographs and graphics you see on the site.
  • Font Awesome and Google Fonts. Deliver the icons and typefaces used on the site from their content delivery networks.
  • H&M Strategies. Our marketing partner, which maintains this website and operates a first party visit tracking script on it.

Beyond those providers, there are two situations where information may be disclosed:

  • Legal and safety. We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, court order, or lawful government request, or where we believe in good faith that disclosure is needed to protect someone's safety, investigate fraud, or enforce our agreements.
  • Business transfer. If CRG is ever sold, merged, or reorganized, customer information may transfer with the rest of the business assets. This policy would continue to apply until you are told otherwise.

7. Data Retention

We keep information for as long as we genuinely need it. In practice:

  • Inquiries that never turn into a job stay in our email and lead records while they are still useful for following up.
  • Customer and project records are kept longer, because roofing work carries warranties. If you call us years from now about a leak, we need to look up what was installed, when, and by whom.
  • Some records are held because tax, accounting, insurance, or other legal obligations require us to hold them.

We have not published a fixed number of months or years, because the honest answer depends on the record. When information is no longer needed for any of the purposes above, we delete it or stop using it. You can ask us to delete your information sooner, which the next section covers.

8. Data Security

We take reasonable steps to protect what you send us. The site is served over HTTPS with TLS encryption, so information you type into a form is encrypted while it travels. Access to our inbox and customer records is limited to the people at CRG who need it, and the providers listed above are established companies with their own security programs.

Here is the honest caveat every business should give you: no website, email system, or storage method is one hundred percent secure. We cannot guarantee that information sent over the internet will never be intercepted or accessed without authorization. That is why we ask you to keep Social Security numbers, bank details, and card numbers out of the form and the chat widget. If you believe your information has been compromised through our website, contact us right away.

9. Your Privacy Rights

No matter where you live, you can ask us to:

  • Tell you what personal information we hold about you
  • Correct it if something is wrong
  • Delete it, apart from records we are required to keep
  • Stop contacting you, or change how we contact you

How to make a request. Email Allen@coastalroofga.com or call (912) 312-0507. Tell us what you want and give us enough detail to find your record, such as the name, phone number, or property address you used. We may need to confirm your identity first, so that someone else cannot request or delete your information. We respond within a reasonable time, and there is no charge.

California Residents (CCPA and CPRA)

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the CPRA, gives you these rights:

  • Right to know. You can ask for the categories and specific pieces of personal information we collected about you, where we got it, why, and the categories of third parties we disclosed it to.
  • Right to delete. You can ask us to delete personal information we collected from you, subject to exceptions such as completing a transaction, providing warranty service you requested, and complying with a legal obligation.
  • Right to correct. You can ask us to fix personal information about you that is inaccurate.
  • Right to opt out of sale or sharing. CRG does not sell personal information and does not share it for cross context behavioral advertising, as those terms are defined under California law. There is nothing here to opt out of, but the right stands and we will honor it if that changes.
  • Right to non-discrimination. We will not deny you service, charge you a different price, or give you a lower level of service because you exercised any of these rights.

In the past twelve months we collected these categories of personal information: identifiers such as name, email address, phone number, and property address; commercial information such as the service requested and project details; internet activity such as pages viewed, referring URL, and browser and device information; and coarse location inferred from IP address. We collect these for the purposes described in section 3.

You may use an authorized agent to submit a request. We may ask the agent for proof of permission and ask you to verify your identity directly. To make a California request, use the phone number or email address in Contact Us below and tell us it is a CCPA request.

10. Children's Privacy

This website is meant for adults making decisions about property they own or manage. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Third-Party Links

Our site links out to other places, including our social media profiles. Once you follow a link away from coastalroofga.com, you are on someone else's website, governed by their privacy policy rather than this one. We do not control what those sites collect. If you plan to share information there, read their policy first.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as our business, our website, or the law changes. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top. If a change materially affects how we handle information you already gave us, we will make a reasonable effort to tell you, for example by posting a notice on the site. Continuing to use the site after an update means you accept the current version.

This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to its conflict of laws rules.

13. Contact Us

This policy describes how we actually handle information today. If any of it is unclear, or you want to know what we have on file for you, call or email and ask. A person at CRG will answer.
